Paypal Express Checkout Now Available

This is a significant new feature for ecommerce sites who are signed up to use Paypal Express Checkout via their business accounts.

Visitors to your site will now be able to checkout with Paypal which means their name and address details will autmatically be populated in REC from their Paypal account, saving time during registration and checkout. Reports suggest that sites using Paypal Express see sales increase by as much as 14%, although this varies widely on a site-by-site basis. Nevertheless, it has the potential to bump up your revenues.

Paypal Express Checkout is also fully responsive which means the entire Paypal checkout process becomes mobile-friendly. If you have a responsive site and offer other forms of Paypal already then we recommend you sign up to Paypal Express.

Once enabled, the Paypal Checkout button appears prominently on the Registration, shopping cart and checkout pages.

Basket Contents Can Now Be Viewed In Sagepay Admin

The full basket contents are now passed across to Sagepay which means when you log in to your Sagepay admin account you can see what has been purchased. This does not show for the user on the Sagepay screen.
