Sell intangible goods delivered electronically, such as ebooks.
Once the buyer has purchased the product, an email will be sent to them with the link to get the download.
Setting Up Digital Products
Disable downloads from appearing on the product page in the template system ( your designer can do this for you).
Go into Purchase Events and add a new event with the Event field set to download.
Set up the content with the download link that will be emailed to the buyer in the system page: "email_purchase_event_download"
Add your download on the product record via Product Manager and select the Purchase Event name you set up and tick 'Is this a digital product?'
You can also add your downloads in Download Manager and associate it to the product record
Important Note: Anyone with the link can download the file so we suggest you set it as a private download which requires you to be logged in.
