You can manage FAQ's on the site in two ways. A very easy way is to create an FAQ page and simply type the questions and answers out as a list. We recommend this for most sites that have straightforward requirements.


For more advanced FAQ requirements you can consider using the FAQ Expert system. The FAQ Expert System (also known as a knowledge based expert system) allows you to create an in depth question and answer page, where the user drills down a path to receive a specific answer based on their previous choices.


Setting Up The FAQ Expert System


1. Go to Manage FAQ Questions


It shows all of the top level questions which you can then select to edit that question, delete it, or ‘drill down’ to questions or answers at the next level below that relate to it.


2. Click Add A Question to start a new question, or click Edit to change a question.


3. Enter the question in the Question field.


4. Select the preceding question this relates to from the Related Q field. This new question will now form part of the drill down when you click on that previous question.


5. If this question is not the final answer then leave the Answer field blank. The system then knows there are further steps in the drill down chain.


6. If this question is the final answer, then add the solution into the Answer field. The system then knows this is the final answer in the drill down chain.


7. Click Submit.


Displaying the FAQ System On A Web Page


Go to Page Manager, set up  and/or edit the page on which you want the FAQ system to appear using the FAQ Main Body App.
