There are multiple steps to increase / decrease prices globally across products, options, or both, so please follow these instructions very carefully!
Backing up your products is the first step, so please use the Export tool in Admin and run off your products in a CSV format.
1. Admin – Dashboard
2. Admin – Search ----> Export
3. Set the limit to however many products you have on the system
4. Generate the normal products CSV, otherwise if you sell automotive products, run the Auto Parts CSV. ( This should save to your downloads folder
or desktop )
Now you`ve backed up your data ( make sure all products are on the
spreadsheet [s] ! )
5. Choose a couple of random products off your website and make a note of
their selling price.
6. Admin – Search ----> Price manager
7. Click this option
8. You are then presented with 8 steps – Please follow all 8 steps very
carefully.
9. Submit and run changes
10. Check the random products you picked for their prices will now have
increased / decreased, depending on what you set it to do.
