Finding Your Product
Here are some tips on quickly finding your product when you have 100's or 1000's categorised and in the system.
Search on product, category id or product code
Search on price
Search on quantity (useful for finding products low on stock or too many left in stock which you may want to clear)
Show Images - Show products using their image rather than in list format
Show All Products - Switch to show all products in a list, paged in blocks of 25. If you have many 10,000's of products this can take a moment. When you view products in a list, colour coding helps you see which products are on:
Special Offer (gold)
Featured (green)
Upcoming (turquoise)
Click Hide Colour Highlighting to toggle the colours on and off
Tip: If you have less than 1,000 products, and want to see them all in one single list, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the link to Show All Products.
Show All Categories - Switch back from a product list to a category list
Sorting Products
You can sort products by unticking Uncheck here to be able to reorder products and either dragging and dropping them into place or clicking a column heading to reorder them that way. If you use the 2nd method, it's wise to tick the link to Show all results so all the products are re-ordered in one go. Remember to re-tick Uncheck here to be able to reorder products when you have finished. It's a simple safeguard against unintended re-sorting.
Tip: If you reorder on Qty Sold you are effectively showing your most popular products first on your product category page.
Featured & Special Offer Product Sorting
There are now two separate tabs which will show your Featured and Special Offer Products. Within each tab you can re-order where products appear in apps and on pages (e.g. Featured Products app, Special Offer sidebar).
