The following instructions below are not explicit to one type of email client, and so the details provided are given as a guideline to help you setup the account.
We unfortunately cannot offer any technical after support for the setup of email client systems, aside from providing the guideline information below.
All email accounts can be accessed via www.outitgoes.co.uk using the relative email username and password. If there are any issues with this account via outitgoes.com, please email us and we will offer full support for this service.
These instructions relate to pulling email from the server onto a local machine using POP3. If you wish to use multiple machines/devices to access the same email account then you should use IMAP.
1. Locate the properties section your admin account settings for editing SMTP / POP3 etc
2. Incoming Mail Server POP3 example: mail.yourwebsitename.co.uk, so yours would be mail.yourwebsitename.com for example.
3. Outgoing Mail Server SMTP example: mail.yourwebsitename.co.uk, so yours would be mail.yourwebsitename.co.uk for example.
4. Incoming Email Username is the email account your setting up so, tom@mydomain.com and the password is the password to gain entry into that email account.
5. If you have the option for "server requires authentication" please enable this.
6. Outgoing Mail Server SMTP port number should be 25
7. Incoming Mail Server POP3 port number should be 110
8. If you have the settings for how long you are to leave mail saved on the server, please set this to be removed off the server after 5 days, so it is saved locally to your machine.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not remove emails off the server, it is inevitable that you will fill your allocated 1Gb of email space per account, therefore any subsequent sent / received emails will fail, so please remember to manage your email accounts wisely.
